This privacy policy is provided pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (the "Regulation") and is addressed to those who consult the www.sellmasters.it website (the "Site").
In accordance with the principles of the Regulation, the processing of the user's personal data is based on the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose and storage limitation, minimization and confidentiality, as well as the principle of accountability pursuant to art. 5 of the Regulation.
This privacy policy does not apply to the processing carried out by the owners of sites or platforms to which the Site may refer. Please refer to the privacy policy provided by the respective data controllers for information on the processing of personal data carried out by them.
1. WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER?
The data controller is Sellmasters S.r.l. (the "Data Controller" or "Sellmasters") with registered office in Rome, Via di Val Fiorita, 86, VAT no.: 15428251001.
The Data Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at this email address privacy@sellmasters.it for any questions relating to this policy or to exercise the rights of the data subject provided for by the Regulation.
2. WHAT PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED?
Navigation data
The software used to operate the Site acquires, during its normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the Site, addresses in URI notation (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user's computer environment. These data are generally used in order to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site to check its correct functioning, to identify anomalies and/or abuses. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the Site or third parties.
Data voluntarily provided, directly or indirectly, by the user
Except for reference to specific information contained therein, this privacy policy is also intended to be provided for the processing of data voluntarily entered by the user in communications requesting information and contact.
3. For what purposes is the data processed? And on what legal basis?
Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes.
a) To ensure the usability of the Site: to allow navigation on the Site and manage the security of the Site, to follow up on specific requests; The legal basis for this processing is art. 6(1)(b) of the Regulation as they are instrumental to offering a service to the user or to respond to a request from the user;
b) To comply with legal obligations: to comply with any obligations provided for by current laws, regulations or EU legislation, or to satisfy requests from the authorities pursuant to art. 6(1)(c) of the Regulation;
c) Send emails about the Data Controller's services: carry out marketing activities via e-mail for services similar to those requested, pursuant to art. 130, paragraph 4 of Legislative Decree no. n. 196/2003 ("Privacy Code"), unless expressly refused to receive such communications, which the user may express at any time;
d) To communicate with the company's activities also by other means of communication: for the communication of services offered by the Data Controller to customers via email, or also for the sending of advertising material and commercial communications by automated means, such as SMS, telephone calls without operator, messages through web applications, paper mail or telephone calls via operator. This processing activity is carried out subject to the consent given by the data subject pursuant to art. 6(1)(a) of the Regulation;
e) Statistical purposes: for statistical purposes, without it being possible to trace the identity of the user, therefore it is not subject to privacy legislation.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access pursuant to art. 32 of the Regulation.
4. To whom will your personal data be transmitted? Is there a transfer of personal data outside the EU?
For the purposes indicated above, personal data may be communicated to the following categories of recipients (the "Recipients"):
(i) subjects who typically act as data processors pursuant to art. 28 of the Regulation, namely: i) persons, companies or professional firms that provide assistance and advice to the Data Controller; ii) subjects delegated to carry out technical maintenance activities of the Site and the information system; iii) service providers used by the Data Controller to achieve the purposes indicated above (e.g. developers of the Site and providers of server hosting services, mailing lists, electronic communication systems); always in compliance with the principle of minimization, limiting the processing only to personal data strictly necessary for the achievement of the specific purpose;
(ii) subjects, bodies or authorities to whom it is mandatory to communicate your personal data by virtue of legal provisions or orders of the authorities;
(iii) persons authorised by the Data Controller, pursuant to Article 29 of the Regulation, who have committed themselves to confidentiality or have an appropriate legal obligation of confidentiality.
Personal data will not be shared with parties outside the European Economic Area. In the event that it is necessary to transfer personal data to Recipients outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will take place in compliance with art. 44 - 49 of the Regulation.
5. How long may your personal data be stored?
The personal data processed to ensure the usability of the Site will be kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve these purposes of navigation security and to respond to requests for information.
Personal data processed to comply with legal obligations will be kept for as long as required by the specific obligation or applicable law.
To send emails about the Data Controller's services, the user's personal data will be processed until the user has objected to the processing.
To make communications related to the company's activities also through other means of communication, the user's personal data will be processed until the user has withdrawn consent.
In any case, it is without prejudice to the possibility for the Data Controller to store personal data for the period of time provided for and permitted by Italian law to protect its interests (Art. 2947(1)(3) of the Italian Civil Code).
6. What are the rights of the data subject?
Pursuant to art. Pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation, the user has the right, at any time, to revoke the consents given without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the revocation, to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the personal data concerning him/her and to know their content and origin, verify their accuracy or request their integration or updating, or rectification; to request the deletion of personal data concerning him/her in the cases provided for by art. 17 of the Regulation; You have the right to request the restriction of processing in the cases provided for in Art. 18 of the Regulation, where technically possible; to obtain in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, the personal data concerning the user, in the cases provided for by art. 20 of the Regulation; as well as to object to their processing in the cases provided for by art. 21 and 22 of the Regulation.
In any case, the user always has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Guarantor for the protection of personal data), pursuant to art. 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that the processing of your personal data is contrary to the regulations in force.
7. Amendments
The Data Controller reserves the right to modify or update the content of this privacy policy, in part or in full, also due to changes in the applicable legislation. The Data Controller therefore invites the user to regularly visit this section to read the updated version of the privacy policy.
